The best lunch and dinner cruise boats to various destinations outside of Stockholm center would include the Archipelago tour, or to witness the beauty of the majestic Royal Family's Dottningham Palace on Ekerö Island, and to feel free sailing on Lake Mälaren. I particularly liked the intimate voyage for a return dinner cruise aboard Stromma Kanalbolaget. The Palace was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1991 along with the Chinese Pavillion and the unique Court Theatre and the Palace's massive gardens. 

The Archipelago tour will see you on board either the M/S Östanå I, built in 1906, S/S Stockholm, built in 1931 or M/S Waxholm III built in 1903. Your guide will point out some of the most exceptional untouched natural landmarks along the way and the journey will take anywhere from 2.5 - 3.0 Hours and there are snacks and sandwiches to fill an empty stomach.
